Ocean Breezzzz Chalet has join up with IRC Adventures to create OB-STR & Adventures.
The Chalet is a Ocean-side Chalet in Springdale NL at Island Rock Cove in Halls Bay. The Adventures side is; ( weather permitting ) we take our 2 or 3 night stay guest out on our trawler yacht for a trip. We also provide Kayaks and River tubes for a trip down Indian River ( ~ 3hrs ) for the experienced kayakers and tubers or simply go around the cove. Wavier to be signed.
This boat trip is usually a chance to see whales/dolphins, sail up to a mussel farm, a visit to a secluded swimming hole or a visit to Little Bay Islands. We have a lunch on the boat or at the dock at LBI. All our guest who had the opportunity to do a boat trip loved that part of their stay.
The Chalet is a great place to sit and relax to possibly watch a whale, dolphins, river otters, mink, blue shark, eagles and herons and on occasion an iceberg not to leave out see a beautiful sunrises or moonlight night.
It will be an awesome stop over as you travel the Island or a great stay to visit the local area, and who knows a boat trip to a resettled island may be in the books.

- This was one of our favorite STR stays ever. Super clean, great location and views, and tremendous hosts... they went out of their way to provide many little extras that were not expected. Would rate it 6-stars in a few categories if I could. Would highly recommend for anybody visiting Springdale!
- We stayed for 3 nights with our teenaged boys. Fully agree with the previous outstanding reviews. This place is 10/10. Location, views, beautiful chalet, and all the special little touches. - This cabin on the bay is the most amazing place to stay. Just make sure you book it for enough nights! After we were there for about an hour, I knew we should stay longer and fortunately, that was possible for us in October. The view is second to none, the personal touches when we arrived made us feel so special, and the décor is so beautiful. Literally everything you need (besides food) is supplied and then some. They even provide blankets for sitting by the fire and binoculars for watching the sea-life in the bay. And Elwin & Peggy are such wonderful hosts that truly want all of their guests to be as comfortable as possible and enjoy every moment of their time in Springdale. Thanks for everything you two! I'm sure we'll see you again!
